North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the drivers and passengers involved in a fatal crash on Monday near Watford City. 

Fifteen-year-old Elizondo Joe, of Mandaree, died from his injuries in the crash. He was a passenger in the 2012 GMC Yukon driven by 18-year-old Clinton Tsosie, also of Mandaree.

Tsosie was eastbound on North Dakota Highway 23 about 14 miles east of Watford City when he rear-ended a 2001 Peterbilt truck driven by 41-year-old Donn Way, of Eagle, Idaho, who had slowed down to turn. Way was uninjured. 

Tsosie was injured in the crash along with his other passengers, 14-year-old Albertina Joe, 11-year-old Neveah Joe and 7-year-old Johnathan Joe, all of Mandaree. 

Way is the only person known to have been wearing his seat belt, according to Highway Patrol. 

The crash occurred about 4:39 p.m. Monday. 

The patrol continues to investigate the crash. 

Giotto's Neighborhood Pizzeria in Watford City has set up a fund for donations to the families of those involved in the crash.
