One man is dead in a one-vehicle crash Monday just north of the Montana-Wyoming state line, according to the Montana Highway Patrol. 

The crash occurred at 4:25 p.m. Monday on Highway 310 at mile marker 3.8, near Warren in Carbon County. The driver has been identified as 31-year-old Shane Bower, of Worland, Wyoming, according to Carbon County Sheriff Josh McQuillan. 

According to the crash narrative: 

Bower was driving a 2008 Ford F-150 north on HWY 310, when his truck drove off the right side of the road. He tried to regain control of the vehicle, but over-corrected and went into the southbound lane of traffic. His vehicle went over the left side of the road, where he again over-corrected and lost control of his truck.

The truck went back off the right side of the road and rolled multiple times before coming to a rest approximately 200 yards from the highway. 

The man was not wearing a seat belt at the time. He was dead on scene. 

According to the report the roads were dry and bare. Speed is a suspected factor, while drugs and alcohol are not thought to be involved in the crash, according to the report.
