Montana is a paradise. She holds within her majestic embrace, a big sky of fresh air and sparkling water and a panorama of sagebrush seas and rocky crests. Montana was forged from a code is conduct where a person’s handshake sealed the deal, with each essential partner certifying their bond to be honest and trustworthy. I am a descendant of that covenant, and it is my sincere wish that in the unending passing of the West, Montana unyieldingly defends her place as a home of peace, of joy and delight, and of laughter and exultation. In that effort, each Montanan is an essential partner in quenching the cacophony of discord and in respectfully listening for the civil discourse found in Montana’s quiet serenity.
