As we enter into this festive season, we want to take this opportunity to say thank you, Billings community, for your continued support of Friends of the Billings Public Library.
The Friends of the Billings Public Library is a nonprofit group whose mission is to promote and enhance library usage and literacy throughout the community. We accomplish this mission by raising funds through our spring and fall book sales, our membership dues and our Book Nook book sales.
Your donations of time, money and gently used books over this past year have enabled us to continue this support. Our success is shared by many, and we would like to take this time to thank everyone who makes it all possible — from the generosity of the community in donating books year round to all of the Friends’ volunteers who work feverishly sorting, shelving, hauling, and setting up these books for our sales and maintaining our Book Nook.
We thank all of our members whose continued support through their membership dues greatly adds to our ability to accomplish our mission. And a special thank you to The Gazette for their media coverage. We look forward to supporting the library and the love of reading in the coming year.
