Thank you to the semi driver this morning hauling a load north on Highway 87. About three miles outside the end of Main Street, I was driving south toward Billings, going up a slight hill. I suddenly noticed the semi headed north quickly pull over on the shoulder and then I look ahead and there was a car coming toward me in my lane, who then quickly swerved to the shoulder on my southbound side of the road. Why this driver was passing on a hill was beyond me, but I hope he/she learned a valuable lesson this morning.

Thank you to the semi driver who basically saved my life as he saw what was about to occur. I'm thankful to not be another statistic. Please Drivers: Do not pass vehicles going up a hill; there is a solid line on your side for a reason.

Grateful to be alive,
