This letter is to thank Sen. Mary McNally for running to represent Senate District 24 again. McNally has done a wonderful job representing her constituents and Billings through her bills that include unwarranted cancellations of their insurance, and improving access to specialized medications. She has proven her ability to successfully solve the problems that many of us face in a thoughtful and bipartisan fashion and, perhaps most appreciated, is her open integrity; with McNally, what you see is what you get.
As for McNally's opponent, his slogan of leading us into the future seems to have already gone down the drain again with the misleading plea on his yard signs to “re-elect” him. This individual has served in the Legislature, most recently the House in 2011 but he has never been elected to the Senate. He can't be re-elected to a seat he has never held. He claims to be running on values of truth, integrity and respect, but his signs suggest that, instead of leading Montana forward, he is at best misleading potential voters. Given this start, what can we expect from him in the future?
McNally is the only qualified candidate for re-election to Senate District 24 in the 2018 election cycle.
Please join me in supporting McNally in November.
