Yellowstone Valley Audubon is offering a series of four bird identification classes taught by Marco Restani on June 9, 10, 12 and 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Zoo Montana.

The final class will be a Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship program refresher. The MAPS program will include capturing/netting, banding and releasing birds. A morning birding walk through the zoo will be included, if there is an interest.

The cost for all four classes is $60 for YVAS members and $75 for nonmembers. Individual classes may be attended for $20/$25.

It is important to make reservations for these classes, as seating is limited and interest in the classes tends to be high. Contact Deb at dregele@juno.com or call 962-3115.
