Grand Teton National Park will host early morning ranger-led sage grouse strut programs for three weekends, on Saturday and Sunday April 20, 21, 27, 28 and May 4 and 5. Participants will be able to observe birds as they perform their annual courtship dance, a unique springtime ritual.
The programs are free, but reservations are required by contacting the park at 307-739-3399. The programs begin at the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center at 5:30 a.m. Participants will be encouraged to carpool to the viewing site.
