What's happening with the Yellowstone volcano? How many eruptions is Steamboat geyser up to now? Have any new geothermal areas been discovered recently?

Join Mike Poland, USGS scientist-in-charge of the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory, at one of the upcoming community meetings to find out.

Poland will host two public events to talk about how the YVO team is monitoring the Yellowstone volcano, with recent activity and research updates. Presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will end at 7:30 p.m.

The Gardiner meeting will be held on Thursday, May 16, at the Gardiner Community Center, 208 Main St.

The West Yellowstone talk will be held on Wednesday, May 22, at the Holiday Inn, 315 Yellowstone Ave.
