The University of Montana is investigating a “drug-facilitated aggravated assault” that happened early Sunday in a campus residence hall.
Galbreath, 21, died in the early morning hours of Aug. 12 following an incident with Missoula police that started as a car chase and escalated to gunfire near Stephens Avenue and Florence Street.

Missoula police announced they recently seized a number of pills that have been connected to overdoses. The pills have been confirmed to contain fentanyl and acetaminophen.
Kimberly A. Michell, who was 52 at the time of death, was determined to have died from accidental drowning.
When officers arrived on the scene at about 11 a.m., they found a 52-year-old woman’s body submerged in about 5 feet of water off the north shoreline.
The suspected shooter in a 2018 double homicide at a downtown Missoula motel pleaded guilty last week in Missoula County District Court.
