Cam Gardner has loved football since he was a child. He embraces the work required to enjoy the exhilaration of a game-day atmosphere.
It's another quality year for wide receivers in the 2021 NFL Draft. These are the top prospects:
When he arrived at MSU, Udy expected to be calling plays. Little went to plan.
McCutcheon viewed the nearly two-year gap between games as an opportunity to enhance his craft.
A day after Montana State announced it was hiring Brent Vigen as its next head coach, the Bobcats may also be moving to solidify their coaching staff.
Travis Jonsen has already dealt with an injury and an uncertain future in his first season in the NFL.
The pick is a wide receiver if Allen Robinson leaves during free agency. Otherwise, the offensive line needs to be upgraded. Vera-Tucker was one of the best offensive tackles in the country, but could also shine on the interior in the NFL. Top needs: OT, WR, QB
The Titans will need to address their secondary (after releasing Kenny Vaccaro and Malcolm Butler) in a major way. Horn — his father Joe was a Pro Bowl wide receiver — is a very talented, uber-aggressive press corner with elite speed, good size (6-foot-1, 205 pounds) and can make plays in run support. Top needs: WR, CB, DT
It's scary that a 10-win team with such a good coach and plenty of young talent also has four picks in the top 50. The Dolphins are desperate for wide receivers who can get open and it's clear that will be the target here (or they wouldn't have made this deal with the Eagles). Miami mimics Cincinnati by reuniting a top receiving prospect with his old college quarterback. A healthy Waddle is the most explosive all-around athlete at receiver in this class and his addition will only expedite former Crimson Tide teammate Tua Tagovailoa's development. Top needs: WR, RB, LB
Metchie could be the fifth Alabama wide receiver selected in the first round in three years. He had 916 yards on 55 receptions and six touchdowns in an offense dominated by Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith and Najee Harris. He'll be Bryce Young's clear-cut number one target in the fall. Top needs: OT, WR, CB
Faulk had three interceptions in Shepherd's playoff loss to Whitehall.
The North Carolina wide receiver crafted a 67-character message he shared with a picture on Twitter the night of June 3, a little more than a week after the death of George Floyd and as protests popped up around the nation.
The Bobcats lost some talented receivers to graduation, but there is no shortage of promise with the group for 2020.
The decision to leave Montana State for Boise State was an easy one for Matt Miller, and it had little to do with football.
For all the excitement surrounding rookies when they enter the NFL, it's rare to see them make an immediate impact on the field. It takes time…
Though they weren’t drafted, NFL teams wasted little time in picking up Montana State's Bryce Sterk and Travis Jonsen.
The Eagles’ wide receiver corps is in shambles. The inconsistent Nelson Agholor signed with the Raiders while DeSean Jackson isn’t getting any younger (or healthier). Reagor is a burner who is capable of scoring from anywhere on the field. Top needs: WR, LB, S.
The Broncos find a replacement for All-Pro cornerback Chris Harris instead of reaching for a receiver. It’s nitpicking to say Henderson is a shy tackler in the run game. Shutdown corners aren’t charged with shutting down running backs. They’re supposed to shut down wide receivers and he has no problem doing that. Top needs: WR, CB, LB.
The Dolphins backfield has been a mess all year. A quarterback (Ryan Fitzpatrick) led them in rushing yards (243) and rushing touchdowns (four) while a wide receiver (Albert Wilson) had their longest rush from scrimmage (28 yards). Taylor's 4.39 40-yard dash in Indy reminded everyone he was an elite athlete on top of the elite production he's known for. Top needs: QB, OL, Edge
The Eagles wide receiver corps is in shambles. The inconsistent Nelson Agholor faces free agency while DeSean Jackson isn't getting any younger (or healthier). A surprising 4.43 40-yard dash in Indy likely helped Jefferson's draft stock. Top needs: WR, DB, LB
The Packers wide receiver corps has been a disappointment this season outside of Davante Adams. Reagor is one of the most impressive athletes at any position in this draft class. He's special with the ball in his hands. Top needs: WR, LB, OT
The Eagles wide receiver corps is in shambles. The inconsistent Nelson Agholor faces free agency while DeSean Jackson isn't getting any younger (or healthier). Higgins is a big-play machine with elite size (6-foot-4, 200 pounds) and speed. He has an "above the rim" mentality as a former basketball player and would be a steal this low in the first round. Top needs: WR, DB, LB
