On Nov. 4:

In 1910: “Margaret Illington, who will be seen at the Babcock theater tomorrow night in her latest success, 'The Whirlwind,' whose vivid portrayal of the wife in 'The Thief' so captivated the public of this country with the variety and kill of her powers that with one hand she was placed foremost among the younger set of emotional actresses.”

In 1935: “Sam, ... generalissimo of the Midland Empire covered Wagon expedition, will instruct some 45 guides and drivers on plans for the Billings Commercial club's campaign to raise $14,000.”

In 1988: “Torres Café Inc., a family owned company headed by (Jose Torres) Quanburg, was named the SBA's Montana minority-owned business of the year. ... The Billings Mexican restaurant was cited for its success and ongoing support of minorities.”
