JACKSON, Wyo. Laurels Tom Anderson placed third Tuesday at the Rocky Mountain PGA Club Professional Championship held at the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club.
Anderson shot a 2-under-par 70 to finish with a 36-hole total of five-under 139.
Tad Holloway of Meridian, Idaho, won with an eight-under 136 (64-72) and Jim Empey of Boise was the runner-up at 138 (68-70).
Bob Eames, the golf pro at The Briarwood in Billings, fired a five-under 67 Tuesday to move into a tie for fourth at 1-over 145 (78-67) with Tommy Sanderson of Sun Valley, Idaho.
Buster Whitney of Caldwell, Idaho, won a playoff to take sixth at 147. Doyle Corbett of Sun Valley also finished at 147.
Forty-one club pros participated in the two-day tournament.
The top six finishers earned berths into the Western Regional PGA Club Professional Championship at the PGA of Southern California Golf Club in Calimesa, Calif., in October.
