Dylan Baxter hurled seven shutout innings and Konner Weichman drove in three runs to lead the Billings Royals to an 11-0 win over the Miles City Outlaws in their season opener Saturday evening at Dehler Park.

Baxter (1-0) struck out seven and allowed just three hits in earning the complete-game win.

The defending State AA champion Royals struck for a pair of runs in the second inning before breaking the game open with a four-run fifth.

The teams play again today in a doubleheader scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at Dehler Park.
