The Billings Bulls hockey team has named Mike Hass as head coach, the team announced Tuesday in a press release.
Hass was a player on the Bulls' inaugural Junior A team in 1993-94, and also served as an assistant coach under Bliss Littler from 1994-97. For the past two years, Hass served as a high school head coach in the Billings Amateur Hockey League.
"I am very excited to have this opportunity to be back with the Bulls," said Hass. "I am looking forward to returning the Billings Bulls to the head of junior hockey in the United States."
Last week, the Bulls were accepted into the Northern Pacific Junior B Hockey League (NorPac), and will compete against 11 teams from Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon.
