BOZEMAN — Montana State women's basketball coach Tricia Binford has announced the signing of five recruits to national letters of intent.

Kayla DeWit of Columbia Falls, Kalli Durham of Miles City and Jackie Elliott of Billings are the in-state recruits that plan to join the Bobcats for the 2011-12 season.

DeWit is a 6-foot forward who averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds as a junior, while Durham is a 5-7 guard who averaged 18.1 points last year. Elliott is a 6-foot forward who averaged 16.7 points and 8.5 rebounds in helping Billings Central win the state Class A championship.

Binford also signed Symone Brown of Paramount, Calif., and Destini French of Playa del Rey, Calif.

Brown is a 5-9 guard who averaged 18.3 points and 7.3 rebounds at Richard Gahr High School and French is a 6-2 center who averaged 15.5 points and 18.8 rebounds at St. Bernard High School.
