STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. — Montana State sophomore Emma Tarbath finished fifth in the women's 15K freestyle as the Bobcats placed sixth as a team at the NCAA Skiing Championships on Saturday.

Tarbath garnered first-team All-America honors with her time of 44:31.5. Johanna Taliharm was 14th for MSU in 46:06.9 and Anna Fake 17th in 46:24.7.

For the Bobcat men, Karsten Hokanson finished in 21st in the 20K. He had a time of 55:51.9. Erik Axelsson was 27th for MSU and Eli Jensen 34th.

Overall for the meet, the Bobcat alpine squad scored 153 points and the Nordic contingent accumulated 140.

Denver won its 24th national title.
