BOZEMAN -- The Montana State University of announced the three finalists for the head coaching position for the volleyball program.

Coming to Bozeman for on-campus visits are: Hannah Long, head coach at Southwestern University in Texas; Todd Nelson, assistant coach at Denver University and Kyle Weindel, assistant coach at Ohio University.

The Bobcats are seeking a new head coach after Sarah Schaub resigned after last season.

Long, a former volleyball and basketball standout at Portland State, is 255-56 in eight seasons at Southwestern, an NCAA Division III program. Her teams have played in seven NCAA tournaments.

Nelson has been an assistant at Denver since 2006 and served as interim head coach since November. He helped the Pioneers win Western Division titles in the Sun Belt Conference in 2007 and 2008. He has also coached at Marquette, Indiana State and Minnesota-Duluth.

Weindel has been with Ohio since 2008. During that time, the Bobcats have won three Mid-American Conference tournament titles and one MAC regular-season championship.
