CEDAR CITY, Utah -- Lori Parkinson scored a game-high 20 points to lead Southern Utah over Montana State 70-60 in Big Sky Conference women's basketball on Saturday afternoon.

The Thunderbirds (19-8, 13-5 Big Sky) made 17 of 23 free throws in the second half to hold off the Bobcats (13-13, 8-9).

Margreet Barhoum and Kayla Dewit had 11 points each for MSU, while Kalli Durham added 10.

Hailey Mandelko added 14 for Southern Utah, while Marquelle Funk added a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds.
