There was very little movement in the latest FCS Top 25 poll, released Monday by The Sports Network.

Montana, following a 29-12 win over Idaho State, stayed at No. 5. The Griz are the only FCS team with 10 victories. UM rounded out the Top 5 behind the same four teams -- James Madison, Appalachian State, Cal Poly and Norther Iowa -- for the third straight week.

The entire Top 10 remained intact, with Weber State sticking at No. 8.

Montana State, following its fourth consecutive win, just missed out on cracking the Top 25 with 111 votes. Is this a bad sign? It could be.

Because there are only two non-eligible playoff teams ranked in the poll (Central Arkansas and Harvard), and because there is a bevy of two- and three-loss teams ranked ahead of them, the Bobcats not only have to win at Montana to earn a playoff spot, but they’ll likely have to do it in convincing style.
