PULLMAN, Wash. — Taylor Mims has signed a professional contract to play volleyball for CV Haris of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the Spanish club and Washington State both announced Thursday.
Mims, a former Billings Senior and Washington State standout, joins a team in the Women’s Volleyball Super League. The league’s season runs from October until May.
The WSU press release quoted Mims as saying: “Tenerife seems like a great place to start my first experience as a professional player.”
Mims also said she will continue “to learn and improve as a player to contribute to the team as much as possible.”
Mims finished her WSU career seventh all-time on the school’s career kill list. She is also fourth in total blocks, sixth in solo blocks and third in total points.
