HAVRE — Outside hitter Elissa Lind, a former all-state player at Hardin High School, is transferring from Western Wyoming Community College to Montana State-Northern to play volleyball for the Skylights.

The 5-foot-10 Lind played two seasons at WWCC, where she received all-region second-team recognition and made the all-region all-tournament team.

"Elissa is a very athletic six-rotation player with size and a wealth of experience," new Northern coach Jerry Wagner said in a press release. "She will complement the returning players and assist the program in our pursuit of becoming a competitive Frontier Conference team.

"Elissa's ball control skills and aggressive style of play strengthen our ability to become more up-temp in our offensive philosophy."

Lind was an all-state player for Class A Hardin in 2015. She was also an all-conference player and team MVP for the Bulldogs.
