HAVRE — Montana State-Northern football coach Mark Samson has announced the signing of six recruits, including transfers from Montana and Montana State.

Samson says linebacker Jared Rohrback is joining the Lights for the 2011 season. Rohrback, a C.M. Russell graduate and Class AA defensive MVP in 2007, will have three years of eligibility remaining. He signed with Montana State, but never played for the Bobcats.

Also joining the Lights is defensive lineman Gage Martell of Drummond. He redshirted at Montana last fall and has four years of eligibility remaining.

Junior college transfers include wide receiver Kyle Johnston of Shasta Junior College, safety Ralphael Huizar of Golden Junior College and cornerback Chris Hamilton of Glendale Community College. The Lights also signed defensive back Michael McCrary of Laveen, Ariz.
