HAVRE — Montana State-Northern has signed five wrestlers, including Forsyth's Chris Nile, for the coming season.
The Lights have also added Nick Kunz of Helena, Chase Short and Rylan Moldenhauer of Great Falls and Jeremy Smith of Yelm, Washington.
Nile, who is projected to compete at 174 pounds, has been helping coach wrestling at Billings Skyview. His collegiate background includes a stint at Boise State University, where he was sidelined by injuries.
He was a two-time state prep champion at Forsyth and a four-time state placer. Nile will join Forsyth brothers Matt and Brandon Weber at MSU-N.
Short (174) won a state title at Great Falls High. Moldenhauer (184) was a two-time state runner-up for the Bison. Kunz (125) was a three-time state placer.
Smith (197) placed second and third at the state tournament in Washington the past two years.
