TEMPE, Ariz. — The Rocky Mountain College men's and women's golf teams are in second place with one round remaining at the Frontier Conference Championships.

Lewis-Clark State took the lead in both with the low rounds on Tuesday.

The Rocky men, who led by one over the Warriors after Monday, are paced by Colton Murphy who is tied for fourth place (74-78-152). Teammate Michael Tait is tied for eighth (73-81-154).

L-C State's Chris Lien has posted two rounds of 73 for 146 going into the final day. The Warriors have a 20-stroke lead on the Battlin' Bears.

Gina Kowalchuk of the University of Great Falls has used consecutive rounds of 75 and 75 for 150 to lead the women.

Rocky's Eryn Ellis is fourth (79-86-165), while Hayden Flohr is tied for eighth (84-86-17) and Morgan O'Neil 10th (94-78-172).

The L-C State women lead the Battlin' Bears by 26 strokes.
