CLEVELAND — Former Rocky Mountain College director of athletics Bruce Parker was honored as a National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics Under Armour AD of the Year Award winner earlier this month.
Parker earned the award at the NAIA level. It is the third time Parker has been honored with the award.
Last month Parker retired from his position at Rocky after three-and-a-half years on the job. Prior to that, Parker spent 12 years in the same role at Carroll College.
"This is a great honor that I wouldn't have received without the amazing coaches, support staff and student-athletes at Rocky Mountain College," Parker said in a press release from the NACDA. "I was fortunate to be at a great institution like Rocky and I am very proud of all the accomplishments that were achieved during my time at the college."
Winners will be presented their awards during the James J. Corbett Awards Luncheon June 29 at NACDA's convention in Washington, D.C.
