MANDAN, N.D. -- Junior forward Oliver Gore scored two goals and Rocky Mountain College rallied to tie the University of Mary 3-3 Friday night in men's soccer.
The Battlin' Bears (4-0-1) got the tying goal from Gore at the 81:49 mark of regulation play. He was assisted by Brandon Loeffler.
Rocky and Mary (0-2-1) played two scoreless 10-minute overtime periods after finishing tied at 3-3 after 90 minutes of regulation play.
Rocky's Nick Heffernan had a goal and an assist.
Rory Pratt tallied two goals for the Marauders, with his second one coming at the 55:09 mark to put Mary up 3-2.
"It was a very entertaining game," Rocky assistant Jared Dickerson said. "There was a lot of action in front of the goal."
Rocky got off 27 shots, Mary 18.
The Bears will entertain the University of Great Falls next Friday with a 4 p.m. match on Rocky's Wendy's Field.
