BILLINGS — Enjoying its highest national ranking in program history, the Rocky Mountain College women's basketball team begins a four-game homestand at the Fortin Center this week.

The Battlin' Bears, ranked No. 15 in this week's NAIA Top 25 poll, host Montana State-Northern on Thursday and have a first-place showdown with Providence on Saturday.

The game will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.

Rocky (17-3, 7-3) is in a three-way tie for first place in the Frontier Conference standings with the Lady Argos and Carroll. The Saints host Providence on Thursday.

Brooke Jones is averaging a team-best 12.2 points a game for the Battlin' Bears, while Mikayla Jones is adding 10.7.

The Battlin' Bears men (13-8, 5-5) have been led by Jared Samuelson who is averaging 19.4 points and 8.1 rebounds a game.
