TEMPE, Ariz. — Having already won the regular season title, the Rocky Mountain College women’s golf team goes for the season sweep at the Frontier Conference Championships.

The championships, for men and women, will be played at the ASU Karsten Golf Club on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The team champion and individual champion receive automatic berths in the NAIA National Championships in May.

The Battlin’ Bear women won two of three events in the fall and were 58 strokes better than second place Lewis-Clark State through six tournament rounds.

Rocky is led by freshman Hayden Flohr, who won her first collegiate tournament. Teammate Eryn Ellis was also a medalist this spring. They will be joined by Morgan O’Neil and Emily Aga.

The Battlin’ Bear men are chasing regular-season champion Lewis-Clark State. Colton Murphy and Michael Tait each rank among the NAIA’s top 50 golfers and the team is receiving votes in the NAIA top 25 poll for the first time since 2013.

Joining Murphy and Tait are Bobby Anderson, Hunter Anderson and sophomore HoTae Kim.
