DILLON — Jared Samuelson had a game-high 29 points and eight rebounds as Rocky Mountain College cruised past Montana Western 91-68 Thursday night in Frontier Conference men's basketball.

The Battlin' Bears (12-5, 3-2) play at nationally-ranked Lewis-Clark State on Saturday.

Rocky trailed 7-0 to start the game and 17-10 before unleashing a 23-6 run in the first half. A Samuelson 3-pointer gave the Battlin' Bears the lead for good, 26-23. Rocky led 42-29 by halftime.

Lukas Vining added 18 points for the Battlin' Bears while Brandon The Boy added 10. Craig Wilmore finished with 11 rebounds.

Rocky shot 62 percent from the field in the second half and 50 percent for the game, including 13 of 26 from 3-point range. Samuelson had four 3-pointers.

Cedric Boone paced the Bulldogs (7-9, 1-4) with 16 points, while Kooper Kidgell had 14 and Tanner Haverfield 12.
