Rocky Mountain College Ski Racing

JACKSON, Wyo. — Andraz Reich Pogladic and Lisa Hiltula of Rocky Mountain College swept the slalom titles at the USCSA West Regional on Saturday.

The Battlin' Bears swept the men's and women's team titles and advance to the USCSA National Championships, March 4-10 in Lake Placid, New York.

Both the Rocky men's and women's teams are the defending national champions.

Reich Pogladic posted the fastest times for both runs, leading a 1-2 Rocky finish. Reich Pogladic was the only skier to be better than 44 seconds on the first run and under 46 seconds on the second. He finished with 1:29.38. Teammate Adam Ahlin was second in 1:31.75. Sean McCormick was fourth for Rocky.

Hiltula had the fastest time on the first run and was third for the second. She finished .08 seconds ahead of teammate Emeline Lafarge, while Camille Virelaude was third for Rocky.
