Rocky ranked 18th in women's soccer

The Rocky Mountain College women's soccer team is ranked 18th in this week's NAIA Top 25 national poll.

The unbeaten Battlin' Bears, 12-0-2, moved up two spots after making their debut in the poll last week. Frontier Conference rival Carroll College, 10-1-3, climbed one spot to No. 20.

Rocky, 2-0-1 in Frontier matches, and Carroll, 2-1-0 in conference, will meet Wednesday afternoon in Helena. Both the Bears and Saints have three regular-season matches left, including a game in Billings on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The winner of the Frontier will advance to the Frontier/TransSouth Unaffiliated Group championship match in Nashville, Tenn., on Nov. 10. The Frontier champ will likely play No. 11 Martin Methodist College, Tenn., 13-3.

Another Tennessee school, Lee University, is No. 1 in the latest national poll at 14-1-1. Mobile, Ala., is No. 2 at 14-3-1.

Rocky is the lone school in the Top 25 without a loss.
