The women's cross country team at Rocky Mountain College moved up one spot to 19th in this week's NAIA Top 25 poll.
Rocky's men and women will be running at the annual Runners Soul/Erik Anderson Cross-Country Invitational Saturday in Spokane, Wash.
The Bears will be taking 15 runners to Spokane.
Alan King, Rocky's sixth-year cross country coach, won the Montana Marathon last Sunday in Billings.
The 32-year-old covered the 26.2-mile distance with a clocking of two hours, 39 minutes and 31 seconds, winning by nearly 20 minutes.
King said he was using the local marathon as a tuneup for his first Boston Marathon this coming spring. He has run a marathon race as fast as 2:29.
Rocky's Noah Kiprono, who is redshirting this fall, also won the half-marathon at the Montana Marathon in 1:08.49.
