E.J. Ross led four players into double figures as the Rocky Mountain Battlin' Bears defeated Montana State Billings 76-71 Wednesday night in men's basketball at Alterowitz Gymnasium.

Ross scored 22 points, while Sergio Trocha had 12, Anthony Carter 11 and Kale Eike 10 for the victorious Bears, who counted the game as an exhibition contest.

Robert Mayes scored 24 points and pulled down 15 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to keep the Yellowjackets from dropping to 1-2 on the season. Tyler Barnes and DeAndre Chambers added 15 points for MSUB.

Rocky shot 48 percent from the floor. The Yellowjackets shot 39 percent from the floor and turned the ball over 19 times.
