HELENA -- Rocky Mountain College lost to San Diego Christian for the second time this season 88-78 Saturday at the Carroll College Classic men's basketball tournament.

The Battlin' Bears are now 4-4 heading into Wednesday's exhibition game at Montana State Billings.

Rocky received 32 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks from junior center Sergio Trocha. Teammate EJ Ross added 19 points and five steals. Anthony Carter had 14 points.

Rocky trailed by as many as 20 points in the second half.

"We started coming back at the 10-minute mark on and got it to six or eight and had chances to make something more happen," Rocky coach Bill Dreikosen said.

But San Diego Christian shot 19 of 21 from foul line in second half and 32 of 35 overall. RMC was 10 of 14 overall.

Tyler Nutton led SDC with 20 points and eight rebounds.
