ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Montana State Billings' shooting woes matched the cold weather as Alaska Anchorage rolled past the Yellowjackets 87-42 late Thursday night in GNAC women's basketball.

MSUB (6-5, 2-3) plays at Alaska Fairbanks on Saturday.

The No. 14-ranked Seawolves (13-1, 5-1) led 43-18 at halftime.

UAA put five players in double figures, led by Hannah Wandersee and Sala Langi who each had 17 points.

The Yellowjackets shot just 24 percent from the field (11 of 46) and 9 percent (2 of 21) from 3-point range. The Seawolves converted 23 MSUB turnovers into 30 points and outscored the Yellowjackets 40-8 in the paint.

Taryn Shelley and Hannah Collins each had 10 points for MSUB.
