Antoine Hosley, a Division I transfer from Utah Valley State, is joining the Montana State Billings men's basketball team for his senior season.
Hosley, a 6-foot guard from Portland, Ore., averaged 6.1 points in 28 games for UVU. He averaged 18 minutes a game and made 22 3-pointers.
"Antione fills a definite need for us,'' said MSUB head coach Jamie Stevens. "He has the ability to both run a team as a point gurd and shoot the ball in a way that allows him to slide over and play the two position.
"He has had the opportunity to play against high level players in his career and that experience should help him have a great senior season for us."
Prior to UVU, Hosley played at North Idaho College, where he averaged a team-high 14.6 points a game. Hosley earned all-Scenic West honors, helping the Cardinals to a 24-8 record.
He started his college career at the University of Washington as an invited walk-on. He appeared in 14 games, averaging 0.5 points and 2.2 minutes a game. He was a member of the 2010 UW team that won the Pac-10 Championships.
