MONMOUTH, Ore. -- The Montana State Billings softball team used a pair of seventh-inning rallies to sweep Western Oregon Saturday afternoon.
The Yellowjackets (4-3, 2-0) twice scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning for 5-4 and 8-7 wins in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference opener for both teams.
Pitcher Kasie Conder, who came on in relief in both games, earned two wins.
MSUB scored five runs in the final two innings of the first game. Kaycee Hoffman belted a bases-loaded double in the seventh for the game-winning runs. Hoffman's second double of the game scored teammates Bobbie Lee, Becca and and Meg Harasymczuk.

Hoffman finished with four RBIs.
The Yellowjackets trail 7-5 entering the seventh inning of the second game after the Wolves scored four runs in the sixth.
Harasymczuk hit a three-run home run to center field, scoring Frank and Amanda Hood, for the game-winner. Conder shut out WOU in their half of the inning for the win.
