TURLOCK, Calif. -- A complete game four-hitter and solo home runs by Meg Harasymczuk and Kelly Parsons powered Montana State Billings to a 2-1 win over Cal State-Stanislaus on Saturday in the Tournament of Champions softball tournament.
MSU Billings went 2-3 in the tournament, splitting two games on Friday and winning one of three on Saturday.
In Saturday's win, Parsons hit a solo home run in the second inning and Harasymczuk added a solo shot in the sixth. Parsley allowed one run on four hits while striking out five.
MSUB is now 14-15 on the season. Stanislaus is 15-24.
The Yellowjackets return home for a four-game Great Northwest Athletic Conference series next Saturday and Sunday. Doubleheaders will begin at 1 p.m. both days at MSUB's Cenex Stadium.
