The top scorer in the country comes to Alterowitz Gymnasium Thursday night when Alaska Fairbanks plays Montana State Billings in men's basketball.

The Great Northwest Athletic Conference game will begin at 7 p.m.

UAF's Parrish West is averaging an NCAA Division II-leading 28.6 points a game. He has scored more than 30 points in 10 games this season, including a GNAC-record six games in a row.

MSUB (5-13, 3-8) has been paced by DeAndre Chambers, who is averaging 12.9 points a game. Teammates Jaxon Myaer, Raason Young and Robert Mayes are all averaging 11.3 points a game this season.

The Yellowjackets defeated the Nanooks 74-60 when the teams met in early January. Mayes had a team-high 18 points, while Emery Henning had a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds.

MSUB will host Alaska Anchorage on Saturday's Hall of Fame night. It is part ofa doubleheader with the women's team. Saturday is Family Night with admission $10 for the entire family.
