BILLINGS — Alyssa Etheridge pitched the complete game to earn the win and Payton Reynolds hit a solo home run to lead the Montana State Billings softball team to a 5-1 win over Central Washington on Sunday at Avitus Group Stadium.

The MSUB victory snapped the Wildcats streak of six straight wins. It also ended a string of 14 straight losses by MSUB to Central Washington

The win followed a 11-5 setback in the first game of a twin bill. Madison Kelly hit a three-run homer in the game to lead MSUB.

MSUB is now 11-27 overall and 4-16 in the GNAC. Central Washington is 25-13 and 16-4.
