PORTLAND, Ore. — Montana State Billings' Wyatt Setian was honored as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference baseball player of the week on Monday.

Setian batted 6-for-18 with five of his hits going for extra bases, including two home runs. Setian blasted his first career grand slam off of reigning GNAC co-Pitcher of the Year Alex Roth of Western Oregon. Setian's slugging percentage was .833.

Setian also had three doubles, giving him a GNAC-leading 13 on the season.

In the field, the shortstop handled all 10 of his chances without an error.

It is the first time in his career Setian has been honored with the award and it is the eighth time a Yellowjacket baseball player has been honored with a GNAC weekly award this season.
