BILLINGS — A three-game losing streak has dropped the Montana State Billings softball team to last place in the GNAC, but the Yellowjackets hope a return home can put a spark into their season.

The Yellowjackets (10-24, 3-13) play at Avitus Group Stadium for the first time this season when they play host to Central Washington for a pair of doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday.

Games begin at noon on Saturday and 12:05 p.m. on Sunday.

A home series against Western Oregon in March had to be rescheduled due to poor weather, meaning the Jackets played their first 34 games away from home.

"It is very exciting to finally be at home this weekend," MSUB coach Jessica Rayman said in a school press release. "I think it is a huge advantage to be able to sleep in our beds the night before we play and get to play in front of our home fans."

League-leading Central Washington (22-12, 13-3) is 5-0 on the road this season. The Wildcats rank second in the conference in team batting with a .333 average and are fourth in team pitching (4.10 ERA).
