Brody Miller, a standout infielder for the Missoula Mavericks, has signed a national letter of intent to play for Montana State Billings next season.
Miller, a 5-8 second baseman, helped Missoula win the Class AA s state American Legion baseball championship in 2010 and finish third at the regional.
"Brody is a tremendous addition to our program,'' said MSUB head coach Rob Bishop. "He is exactly the kind of player that we need to take Yellowjacket baseball to the next level. He is extremely competitive and is a terrific offensive player. Brody is one of the top players in Montana."
Last season Miller led the Mavericks in almost every offensive category, including hits (146), RBIs (126), doubles (37) and home runs (37). He batted .428 and set single-season records for at-bats, hits, RBIs, home runs and total bases.
