COUER D'ALENE, Idaho -- Mac Keating of Montana State Billings couldn't be any better in his practice round, scoring a double-eagle at the Great Northwest Athletic Conference championships earlier this week.
Keating, of Billings, recorded the feat on the 540-yard No. 1 hole at the Couer d'Alene Resort Golf Course. After using a driver to tee-off, Keating completed the double-eagle with a 3-hybrid from 236 yards out.
Keating would shoot rounds of 85, 74 and 78 for a 237. He tied for 13th place. The Billings West graduate was the top finisher for the Yellowjackets.
