GREELEY, Colo. — Northern Colorado scored 11 runs in the first inning en route to an 18-6 college baseball victory over Montana State Billings on Monday.

Ryan Myers hit a three-run home run in the top of the first inning for MSUB. However, MSUB gave up seven walks, two hit batters, issued four wild pitches, allowed six hits, had a balk and had a passed ball during the bottom half.

The Jackets finished the nonconference portion of their schedule with a 5-5 record and move on to the 40-game Great Northwest Athletic Conference season next week.
