All five starters scored in double figures and Montana State Billings thumped Minot State University 83-63 in men's basketball Saturday at Alterowitz Gymnasium.

Raason Young pumped in a season-high 22 points and grabbed seven boards to lead the Jackets (1-1). DeAndre Chambers, Robert Mayes and Jaxon Myaer all scored 12 for MSUB, while Emery Henning tossed in 11. Myaer dished out nine assists, while Chambers was credited with six.

Kal Bay led Minot State (2-5) with 17 points, while Nathaniel Packineau chipped in 14.

MSUB closed the first half with a 10-0 run and opened the second half with a 15-5 surge.

The Yellowjackets hosts Rocky Mountain College Wednesday at 7 p.m.
