LARAMIE — Wyoming coach Larry Shyatt says senior forward Leonard Washington has been fully reinstated to the Cowboy program.

Shyatt says in a statement that Washington has met the criteria for earning his way back onto the team.

Washington was charged with criminal entry and battery stemming from a fight earlier this year. He pleaded guilty and was fined $530, given a suspended jail sentence and placed on unsupervised probation.

Before the incident Washington had been suspended from the team for unspecified violations.

Washington was a second-team All-Mountain West selection last season when he averaged 12.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks in 32 starts for the Cowboys.
