The Montana State Billings and Rocky Mountain College women’s basketball team close out 2009 with a cross-town rivalry game tonight at Alterowitz Gymnasium.

The game begins at 7 p.m. It is Realtors Night with all realtors admitted free with a business card.

MSUB (5-4) defeated Rocky 87-75 on Nov. 10 when the teams played at the Fortin Center. The game was an exhibition for the Yellowjackets and a counter for the Bears. Tonight’s game counts for both teams.

Junior center Kayla Ryan is averaging 15.6 points and 9.7 rebounds a game for MSUB. She has posted a double-double in six of nine games this season. Sarah McNamee is adding 12.7 points a game, while Callie Kautzmann is averaging 11.8.

Rocky (2-9) is led by Tana Stewart’s 11.8 points and seven rebounds a game, while Molly Schenderline is averaging 9.6 points a game.

MSUB leads the all-time series 55-14 and is 32-5 at home against Rocky. The Yellowjackets have won 10 straight against the Bears and 26 of the last 28.
