MISSOULA — University of Montana volleyball coach Jerry Wagner has announced that libero/setter Brooke Fournier of Redondo Beach, Calif., has been accepted by the university and will join the Griz program in the fall.

Wagner said Fournier brings a wealth of playing experience to the team.

Fournier was the starting setter for South High all four seasons, helping the Spartans to league titles in 2008 and 2009. She earned league MVP honors three years.

She also plays club volleyball for a team that has qualified for the USA Volleyball Girls’ National Championships this summer in Reno, Nev.
